This annual celebration is possible due to the Rodeo Committee’s countless hours devoted throughout the year.

In 2023, the Oakley Rodeo Board with the help of local partners significantly increased contestant prize monies to $20,000 per event (team roping equaled $40,000) for this “One Header” PRCA sanctioned rodeo.

For 2024, an additional event has been added “Oakley Xtreme Bulls” with one-header event where 40 world-ranked bull riders compete for prize money of $35,000. In 2024, Oakley Xtreme Bulls was added as a fifth night of the rodeo.

In 2025 the Oakley Rodeo Board added an additional $2,500 in prize money for each event, making the purse monies totaling $202,500. Facility improvements include brand new bucking chutes, upgraded outdoor seating at the Red Barn, and upgraded outdoor lighting for the Red Barn and outdoor lighting for the food court area.
